Protein Energy Bites

These Protein Energy Bites are a simple, nutrient-dense snack designed to support training demands, recovery, and everyday energy needs. Made with a balance of carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats, they provide steady fuel to support performance and help bridge the gap between meals. 

Ideal as a pre-workout snack, post-workout recovery option, or convenient on-the-go fueling. 

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 scoop NSF Certified Protein Powder (choice of flavor)
  • 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine, oats, peanut butter, honey, protein powder, and chocolate chips.
  2. Mix until evenly combined. 
  3. Roll into approximately 1-inch balls using your hands.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or freeze for longer.

Fueling Notes

  • Pair with fluids to support hydration, especially around training.
  • Portions can be adjusted based on training volume, timing, and energy needs. 
  • If mixture is too dry, add 1 tablespoon of milk or (milk alternative).
